Fire Forms

For these images the sole source of light is fire, which has unique qualities. My fascination with fire is longstanding, extending back many years to summers spent on the National Forest Service's seasonal wildfire crews. Fires are not formless but fire forms are evanescent; most are too transient for the human mind to process, providing ample room for the imagination.
